Dear SOPHIA Network members.

We had a wonderful SOPHIA Network meeting in Ljubljana last weekend �welcoming new SOPHIA members and continuing to build the SOPHIA community by working together in dialogue, as well as learning about different projects and approaches in �doing philosophy with children� from Slovenia, Norway and the Netherlands.

Continuing the work of building the SOPHIA community, I am writing to you now to let know that we are planning to hold a Preparatory Meeting in Portugal in November 2007 � for prospective EU Socrates project(s).  We aim to have the details by the end of June, when you will receive an invitation letter with all the relevant information.

We want you to have lots of time to apply to your national agency for funds to cover the travel and accommodation costs to attend the Meeting. So for those of you who are new to this process, we thought to give you time to find out where your national agency is and how to apply. If you have never done this before, here is a link to find your national agency:
